Visit the 3 monasteries of Wadi el Natrun dedicated to Our Lady Theotókos (Mother of God).
Lunch before returning to Cairo.
FOURTH DAY: Towards Assiut
Wake up at 05:00.
Breakfast at 5.30am.
Departure at 06:00 (check-out from the hotel).
Departure for Assiut, where the Holy Family spent most of their time in Egypt.
Visit to the Moharrak and Dronka monasteries.
Lunch during the journey.
Return to the Minia region and accommodation at the Hotel Horus.
Dinner at the hotel.
FIFTH DAY: Gabal el Tir Monastery
Wake up at 06:00.
Breakfast at 06:30.
Departure at 07:00 (check-out from the hotel).
Visit to the Gabal el Tir Monastery (Mountain of the Birds), carved into the rock.
Lunch and return to Cairo.
SIXTH DAY: Old Coptic Cairo
Wake up at 07:00.
Breakfast at 7.30am.
Departure at 08:00.
Visit Old Coptic Cairo, including the Hanging Church of Our Lady, the Church of St. Sergius, the Coptic Museum and the Ben Ezra Jewish Synagogue.
Lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the Church of Our Lady of Maadi.
SEVEN DAY: Mary's tree
Wake up at 07:00.
Breakfast at 7.30am.
Departure at 08:00.
Visit to Mary's Tree in El Mataria.
EIGHTH DAY: Departure
Breakfast and check-out from the hotel.
Transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
